Myanmar doesn’t want our help

Everybody has heard about the cyclone that has hit Myanmar, well I been wondering why the United States hasn’t been helping them. We only see little footages and tonight they actually showed some guy going in and a government official wouldn’t let him inside their village. What I don’t understand is…they are sick, dying, disease, yet they don’t want help from the United States. Later they will just complain that we didn’t help them. We can not win!!! Tonight, when I heard Myanmar didn’t want our help, and didn’t want us in their country, I wasn’t too shocked. But what gets me so angry is this is the government speaking. It’s not the little kids without parents or the elderly that are sick; it’s the politicians in the country that are saying they don’t “need” our help. What’s it going to take for them? For half their country to die?…oh wait, already over 100K died…and more with disease…I guess let them all die and perhaps they will wonder what went wrong….

My heart goes out to the ones that have lost their family in the cyclone and those who will. I’m sorry for your government getting in the way of your hungry and sick love ones.
